This Cicada lamp has a warm and mysterious glow. The opium poppy on top was grown out in my garden and then cast into bronze. The hawk feet were taken from a Coopers Hawk I found dead while walking and riding freight trains across the United States in 2007. The feet sat in my backpack for 1000 miles and then sat in my studio for a year before I decided to mold and cast them for a lamp.
